滿堂紅
 

老友到生機店來吹水話近日股市無紅底股,於視乎我就靈機一觸,今日就來炮製個紅底飯。

材料有紅菜頭、番茄、白米、八寶雜糧、橄欖油。
先把白米洗淨,然後加2湯匙八寶雜量及丁方紅菜頭到白米,按制煮飯。
番茄開邊後用橄欖油煮爛成漿備用。當飯熟就把茄漿攪混便成。
這個營飯甚得生機店老友喜愛,色香營俱備。

Lucky Red
Regulars complain about the poor stock market these days, so I made them a Lucky Red meal to boost their spirit.

Ingredients include Beet, Tomato, Rice, 8-Grain and Olive Oil.

Wash rice properly.  Add 2 tablespoon 8-Grain and beet dices to the rice, then press the “cook” button.

Cut tomatoes in halves and cook them in olive oil until mushy.  When the rice is done, mix well with tomato paste and serve.
This delicious and nutritious Lucky Red has become one of our popular meals recently.

排毒美顏水
紅菜頭(Beet)含豐富的鉀、磷、鈣、鎂、碘、鐵等礦物質和多種不同的胡羅卜素。它獨有的甜菜鹼,有助保持肝臟機能健康,具抗癌功效及清肝補血,還有多吃紅菜頭,有助提升體內的氧氣量。
紅菜頭葉含葉酸、維他命C、鉀和鐵,男女老幼都適宜食用,尤其對女性功效更佳。
紅菜頭連葉2(600),過濾水1.5公升。
把紅菜頭連葉洗淨,紅菜頭切片,水滾後把材料放進,煲25分鐘就可以熄火飲用,可以連渣一同吃,既可飽肚又吃到纖維。
襯菜園D紅菜頭現在當茬,我每日都會煲2公升紅菜頭水飲,發覺近日去大大一流,仲排好多極臭的廢物。08Lp.施姐姐
Beet Detox Tea
Beet is rich in minerals such as potassium, phosphorous, calcium, magnesium, iodine and iron as well as various types of carotene. The betaine in beet aids in maintaining liver health. Overall, beet is good for liver and blood, especially beneficial to ladies.
Beet with leaves 2 pcs (approx. 600g), filtered water 1.5 litre.
Wash beet and leaves properly. Cut beet into pieces and stalks into sections. Put all ingredients into boiling water and boil for 25 mins.
Apart from consuming Beet Detox Tea as drinks, the beet and leaves make a hearty meal rich in dietary fibre.
As beet is the star of our farm recently, I consume 2 litres of Beet Detox Tea daily. Guess what? I have been undergoing a marvellous detox every single day!

蒸紅菜頭片
好多朋友話買紅菜頭連葉唔知點食,其實動動腦筋,就可以有多種食法又唔會浪費。
紅菜頭連葉1個(約700克),先把紅菜頭批皮後切片,放入電飯煲內隔水蒸約20分鐘(當煮飯時放在飯頂蒸,更慳電)。
成事後便可食,味道好鬼死清甜,補血排毒一流。 08Ao. 施姐姐
Steaming method (Beet pieces)
Beet with leaves 1 pc (about 700g)
Skin the beet and cut into pieces, place them nicely on a plate and steam for 20 minutes.
A more environmental friendly method is to steam the beet pieces in the electric cooker while cooking the rice!
You may eat the beet pieces hot, warm or put them in the fridge and eat as snacks.
Tastes sweet. Good for detoxifying.

Boiling method (Beet leaves)
Remember the remaining leaves from the above??? Boil them in a pot of filtered water for 20 minutes.
On one hand, you are not wasting anything, on the other hand, it is so nutritious yet simple to prepare.
Good to put them in a thermo cup and bring to work.
It's always nice to pamper yourself in the middle of hard work, right?

丁方紅菜頭香飯
紅菜頭1個(350克)、糙香米1杯、過濾水1杯
紅菜頭批皮切丁方,連同糙米及過濾水,放進電飯煲同煮。色香味俱全。 08Ao.施姐姐

Beet dices in brown rice
Beet 1 pc (350g), brown rice 1 cup, filtered water 1 cup
Skin the beet and cut into dices. Mix the beet dices, brown rice and filtered water together and cook them in an electric cooker.
Smells good, tastes delicious

補血紅菜頭碎牛湯
洪太心血來潮,話整番味靚湯等我貼上網同大家分享,做法簡單。
紅菜頭連莖1個(500克)批皮切丁方、莖洗淨切段、過濾水800毫升、薑2片、碎牛肉四兩,豉油、生粉、橄欖油適量調味備用。
將過濾水煲滾後放薑、丁方紅菜頭及莖,煮20-25分鐘後加入碎牛,滾3-5分鐘熄火。

Beet and minced beef soup
Mrs. Hung, our biogenics shop regular, shared with me this simple and tasty soup recipe. Let's give her a big hand!
Beet with stem 1 pc (500g), filtered water 800ml, ginger 2 pc, minced beef 4 tael, soya sauce, corn flour and olive oil.
After washing, skin the beet, cut the beet into dices and the stems into strips.
Bring the filtered water to a boil, put in ginger, beet dices and stems. After boiling for 20-25 minutes, put in the minced beef, boil for another 3-5 minutes and the soup is done!

想問問, 我買了有機紅菜頭, 切片煲水後, 食時發覺紅菜頭有很重的泥味, 很難吃, 有甚麼方法辟味呢?謝謝
